We began in 1984 in a bookshop near the British Museum, bringing together people from the local business, professional and creative communities.

Our many success stories encouraged us to establish our introduction agency in separate premises and we've now expanded into offices in Adam and Eve Mews, Kensington.

Although our select membership now stands at 12-1300 and we have 12 members of staff, we've never lost sight of our origins. Thinking people, those who enjoy life to the full, men and women with a rich mosaic of interests, are still those who trust Drawing Down the Moon to help them find that special person.

In fact our members often say we are much more of a club than a dating agency as they find they have so much in common with the people they meet through us. We only invite people to join if we feel they are happy, successful, have an active social life and a genuine desire to find a great relationship.

Now that the extended family and the local community have all but disappeared, it's virtually impossible for busy professionals to meet available, eligible singles in the normal course of their lives. Drawing Down the Moon can compress a whole lifetime's meetings into just one year's membership of our dating agency.
